World Peace Through Common Goals
For some, there is little hope for world peace in their time. Some say that recent generations in certain countries have less purpose in life because there is no single ‘great struggle’. What’s worse, for some people, life is a daily fight to get what they need to survive. It might be scraping together enough food, or fleeing areas which are too dangerous to live in.
As a result, certain aggressive people seek meaning in violence.
Many of these people don’t have what they need to survive, and are of course frustrated and angry because of that.
Some people take advantage of the frustration of others. They create or join factions of war, or create conflict when they cannot work toward something greater than themselves.
If more people could be given hope and a greater focus, given a way to build things to improve their lot and the lots of the people they love, there might be less war-like aggression. A possibility for world peace.
On the other hand, some other people struggle and suffer with little hope of success
Too many people are burdened by poverty, harsh environmental conditions, and social struggles that cannot be easily overcome. If people like these were given a better chance to improve their own chances of survival, humanity would be so much better for it!
On the other end of the spectrum, people who have plenty of resources but no meaning in life seek that meaning through excess.
Some people lose hope and take solace in drugs, alcohol, and sex to numb themselves or to enjoy a fleeting pleasure. Some tour the world and take selfies during their visits to cultural treasures, sometimes causing accidental or purposeful damage to those pieces of history by climbing them, carving their names into them, or taking bits to sell on eBay.
Human beings are not stones around the neck of those who are better off!
Everyone has stories. Everyone has ideas. Everyone has the potential to use their bodies and their minds to improve the world. If they were given the opportunity, they could be a large part of bringing about world peace!
There are many things we can do to help these people and everyone in between.
Those searching for a greater cause can find it in creation rather than destruction.
There are so many people who want to help but are limited by their resources. They can get a chance to help everyone as well as themselves.
One of these potential purposes is what I discuss in my bestselling eBook:
